Build scenario template (admin)

 
 
It is possible to let visitors of the website to identify their data by comparing it to the data in the database.
 
A scenario template has to be made and the administrator of the website can decide which fields are included and what parameters are set.

In short, how to build and activate the online identification:

 
  • In the admin panel, create a new scenario template.
  • Drag the wanted fields to the template and set the properties as preferred.
  • Click Save.
  • Create a page where the scenario template will be placed on.
  • Optional: In the menu, add a link to the new page, for the user to navigate to the identification easily.

1. Create a new scenario template (0:05)
2. Drag the wanted fields onto the template (0:22)
3. Set the wanted settings in the properties section (0:28)
 
 
 

Written instructions:

 
  • Create the scenario template:
    1. In the Admin panel, go to Templates.
    2. Create a new template.
         a. Select the template type: Scenario
         b. Enter the name of the scenario template
         c. Select the database and table
         d. Enter a description (optional)
         Click Create
    3. Build the scenario by dragging the wanted fields.
    4. Click on any of the dragged fields to see and set the properties on the right.
    5. Save the scenario template
     
  • Create the page where the scenario is displayed:
    6. In the Admin panel, go to Pages
    7. Create a new page.
         a. Enter the title of the page.
    8. Drag the scenario template to the page.
    9. Click on the scenario to see and set the properties.
         a. Select the web layout for this page.
    10. Click Save.
     
  • Add scenario page to the menu:
11. In the Admin panel, go to Templates.
12. Go to the Menu template and click on the icon to edit.
13. Add the page to the right place in the menu.
14. Click Save.
