Edge detection
The Edge detection option allows retrieving automatically the information available in a given region of interest (ROI) of a picture.
We have implemented a number of algorithms that are intended to detect object automatically or semi-automatically.
The quality of the obtained results is heavily depending on the quality of the image and on the complexity of the structure to be retrieved.
We cannot guarantee that the automated version will always give satisfactory results but it is worth trying it.
The system works like a wizard with a number of steps that are described below.
