Format protein Fasta file for Blastp alignments
To perform a Blastp using a local file, the files needs to be formatted first.
Three additional files will be created (*.phr, *.psq and *.pin), which are needed to perform the Blastp successfully.

To format a DNA fasta file, under Molecular Tools, in the Files group, click Format protein file.

Select the file to be formatted.Note: To avoid difficulties, please use short file names containing no special characters or spaces.
