Format DNA Fasta file for Blastn alignments
To perform a Blastn using a local file, the files needs to be formatted first.
Three additional files will be created (*.nhr, *.nsq and *.nin), which are needed to perform the Blastn successfully.

To format a DNA fasta file, under Molecular Tools, in the Files group, click Format DNA file.

Select the file to be formatted.Note: To avoid difficulties, please use short file names containing no special characters or spaces.
