Searching any text character/field
Since database users are not always aware of the field name where data is stored, it can be convenient to search any of the existing text fields of a given table at the same time.
For example, one could search for ‘Beer’ in the field “Substrate of isolation”, but it could also be that another field like “Products of the strain” would contain the same kind of information.
BioloMICS allows users to query all text fields at the same time, via the Any text fields option (see step 2 of the simple and advanced queries).
