Remote desktop settings
When the settings of the remote desktop are not ideal to your situation then they can be changed and saved.

Follow step 1 to 4 of the Remote desktop page.

Right click on the .rdp file and choose Edit

The Remote Desktop Connection window appears and changes to the display and local resources can be made.

When you are using more than 1 monitor it could be that the remote desktop opens on all of them.
If you do not want this then go to the Display tab and uncheck the option Use all my monitors for the remote session.
Use the slider to set the preferred size of the remote desktop.

Go back to the General tab and click Save to keep the settings saved for the shortcut.
