Manage the structure of my database
Choose from the following options:

A table is comparable with a sheet in Excel. An example of a table is the Strains table. Another example is a table to store pictures or files.A field is comparable with a column in Excel. An example of a field is: Type of organism. There are different field types to structure the data the best way possible.An overview of all the tables and fields in the database can be easily displayed and exported if needed.

Each person entering the BioloMICS database is registered and has an own profile. Each user belongs to one or more groups that have specific rights on the data.

Decide how tables and fields are displayed to the end user.When a table or field is created it has to be added to a table view to be able to see it.In the table views you decide which table and field to show to users and how the fields are ordered. This can be done in a tree view or a form view.

Decide who can see what. Per table and field you can decide which group of users is able to see the table, to edit it and who can delete it.Set the rights for existing data as well as for future data to come.Decide who is administrator of the table, this can be more than one user.
